The Disclaimer
THE AQUARIA WEB FORUMS© ARE PROVIDED AS A FREE SERVICE FOR ALL AWnet READERS. AWnet ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT IS SAID IN THIS FORUM, OR FOR ANY MISUSE OF MATERIAL IN THIS FORUM. NO MESSAGES OR MATERIALS FROM THIS FORUM SHALL BE REPRODUCED OUTSIDE THE FORUM ITSELF WITHOUT THE EXPRESS PERMISSION OF THE AUTHOR OF THE ARTICLE/MESSAGE AND AWnet's EDITOR'S ONE.

The Main A.W.F. Rule
THE AWnet GENERAL EDITOR , AND/OR  OTHERS WITH HIS DELEGATION, HAVE THE EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY ARTICLE/MESSAGE FROM THE FORUM AT ANY TIME, AND FOR ANY REASON. AUTHORS OF THE REMOVED ARTICLES/MESSAGES AGREE THAT THEY HAVE NO RECOURSE AGAINST THE REMOTION.  ON THE CONTRARY, ARTICLES / MESSAGES OF PARTICULAR INTEREST COULD BECOME PART OF AWmag ARTICLES AND SURVEYS AND PUBLISHED IN AW  MAGAZINE WITH THE IMPLICIT PERMISSION OF THE AUTHORS.

The A.W.F. is a collection of open, moderated, educational Forums that will adhere strictly to the charter and purpose of the Forums, which is to communicate about all aquaria topics (aquarium fish and plants keeping and breeding, tecnich, waterlife ecc.).
The Aquaria Web Forums feature is an AquaWorld Network survey.
Partecipation in A.W.F. is granted as a courtesy and that courtesy can be revoked at any time deemed necessary. No one has a "right" to be here. The same is true for all web forum. There is nothing special about A.W.F. in this case. We don't want to make A.W.F. a closed Forum with protect access but on the contrary would like it remain a free way to meet other aqua-friends: in this we ask for your help and collaboration.
Each Author is responsible for everything he posts to the Forum.
It is a general rule of Internet etiquette that you should not say anything on a web forum that you would not be willing to put on a postcard.
All levels of expertise, from beginning fish keepers to professional breeder are welcome here.

The A.W.F. Rules
NOTE: The Main List Rule governs the Aquaria Web Forum. These rules are here in order to give an idea of what is generally acceptable behavior. The Main List Rule takes precedence over everything here, but if you follow these rules, the chance of having to use the Main List Rule will be greatly reduced. Much of this is standard "netiquette" with a couple of extra things related to specific problems this list has had.

1. Keep posted articles/message aquaria and fishkeeping related in some way: no other topic is allowed in A.W.F.
2. You must "sign" your posts. You are required to "sign" every post in the specific fields with your full real name and email address. This is a matter of standard Internet etiquette (see RFC1855). Bringing together and joining aquaria people from around the world is one of the most important AWnet's goals, so it should be fool and useless to post anonymous articles/message: more, they should be deleted from the Forums pages immediately .
According to the new approved Internet laws, in a public Forum
ANY USER IS HELD FULLY LIABLE OF WHAT HE WRITES, ALSO FOR EVENTUAL LEGAL ACTION.
3. You must respect the opinions of others on the list. Aquariology in general is an inexact science. Some may call it an art. What works for you may not work well for somebody else. You should consider what each poster says to be their opinion , based on their own experience , unless they state otherwise. It is up to you to keep your postings at an adult level regardless of your age.
4.
Don't flame anyone or get into arguments on the Forum. If you find yourself having a difference of opinion with someone on the Forum and it is turning into an argument, it is up to you to stop it. The way this is done is to stop posting about it. Don't wait for the other person to do it. You do it . If a Forum user has posted something that you don't like, and you do not have anything constructive to add, please just ignore the article/message without replying to it. This is one of the most important things in stopping flame wars.
5.
Posting commercial advertising is not allowed on the A.W.F. The AWnet's Editor makes the final decision as to what constitutes commercial advertising. AquaWorld Network and the A.W.F. do not endorse any particular product. Advertising products and fish once or twice a year only is allowed but for consistent advertisement on the sale of things, please contact for eventual banner advertisement, we offer a complete and very cheap advertising banner service, including the creation of a fully coloured, personalized and highly detailed banner.
